Midwest Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan or two (8-inch) round pans.
    In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter; add sour cream, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture; beat well.
    Pour into prepared pans.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done.
