Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    36 oz. Ore-Ida hash brown patties
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 can Durkee fried onions
Preparation
    Defrost patties and mix with salt, pepper, soup, sour cream and diced onion.
    Pat into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Poke holes with end of wooden spoon.
    Pour stick of melted butter or margarine over top.
    Sprinkle Durkee fried onions.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
