Creole Fried Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. tomato ketchup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. Tabasco
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 qt. oysters, drained
    cornmeal
    oil (for frying)
Preparation
    In a deep bowl, mix well, the egg, ketchup, Worcestershire, tabasco, black pepper, red pepper, and garlic powder.
    Soak oysters in sauce for 1 hour and refrigerate.
    Roll oysters in cornmeal and fry in oil until golden brown.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
