Auntie Dear'S Cream Pie - cooking recipe

1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. light corn syrup
2 eggs
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. roughly broken pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine sugar, flour and salt in a large bowl. Add corn syrup and blend thoroughly. Beat the eggs lightly and add then to the sugar mixture. Stir to blend. Add the evaporated milk and stir until well blended. Add the vanilla and pecans; mix well. Pour the filling into the crust and bake for 1 hour or until the filling is set and browned. However, do not overcook because the filling becomes grainy.
