Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 Tbsp. water
1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine and
bring just to a boil sugar, shortening and water, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; add and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend
in sifted flour, salt and soda.
Stir in nuts. Bake in 9-inch
square
pan at 325\u00b0 for approximately 25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost.
