Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck small cucumbers
    stalks of dill, garlic and hot pepper
    1 pt. vinegar
    2 1/2 qt. water
    3/4 c. plain salt
Preparation
    Wash and soak cucumbers in cold water.
    Leave overnight. About noon the next day dry and pack in jars.
    Put in stalks of dill, garlic and hot pepper.
    To vinegar add water and salt. Bring to boiling point and pour over cucumbers; seal.
    To make lids seal, put jars in a large container and cover with water. Heat to hot; don't boil.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
