Sunshine Cookie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 (2 layer) yellow cake mix with pudding
1 egg
1 lb. confectioners sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Melt
butter;
pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Add cake mix and 1 beaten egg.
Put into pan, reserve 1 tablespoon confectioners
sugar.
Combine
remaining confectioners sugar, cream
cheese,
egg and lemon juice in bowl; mix well.
Spread over cake
mix
mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until
set and golden.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar.
Cool and cut into squares.\tYield: 2 dozen.
