Butter Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan in oven.
    Remove.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in milk slowly until dough clings together.
    Turn out onto well-floured board.
    Knead lightly 10 times.
    Roll 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut into 1/2-inch strips. Dip strips in butter on both sides.
    Place close together in pan. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
