Boiled Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. raisins
2 c. water
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Put all ingredients in pan; boil them.
Cool.
Don't let get cold.
Add 3 cups flour and 2 teaspoons soda.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until done.
