Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced
    1/4 tsp. fennel seed
    3 Tbsp. chopped green onion tops
Preparation
    Remove tough outer leaves of cabbage, quarter, then core. Thinly slice each quarter.
    Cook cabbage in Crisco and salt in a large skillet for 30 minutes over low heat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly.
