Oatmeal Macaroon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. flour
    3 c. rolled oats (quick)
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, both white and brown sugars and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Beat eggs.
    Add creamed shortening mixture and rest of ingredients. Round teaspoon shape into balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
