Meat Loaf Wellington - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Franco-American beef gravy
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. small bread cubes
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    5 refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
Preparation
    Mix well 1/4 cup gravy with beef, bread cubes, egg, onion, salt and dash of pepper. Shape firmly into loaf pan (7 x 3-inch), cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Take out of oven, check to see if done, drain.
    Separate rolls, place crosswise over top and down sides of loaf overlapping slightly.
    Bake 15 minutes more. Heat remaining gravy.
    Serve with loaf.
