Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco real well; add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Dissolve soda in milk and mix well with flour (including salt).
    Alternately beat egg whites and fold in last.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
