Fruit-Nut Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/3 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1/3 c. raisins
    1/3 c. canned crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Put cottage cheese and lemon juice in a blender until smooth. Add raisins and pineapple; blend just until fruit is finely chopped.
    Scrape mixture into a bowl.
    Stir in nuts.
    Cover and keep cold until serving.
    May be used on crackers, bread slices or sandwiches.
