Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3/4 c. milk, warmed
4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Let yeast and water set until dissolved.
Mix all ingredients. Let rise until doubled in bulk.
Roll out, cut and rise until doubled again.
Fry at 365\u00b0.
Add sugar or leave plain.
