Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 c. strawberries
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 box Sure-Jell
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine berries and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
    Add box of Sure-Jell and stir for 20 minutes.
    Add Karo syrup and sugar and stir until well blended. Pour into a flat pan and let it set overnight, stirring occasionally.
    Put into jars and freeze.
    Makes 4 pints.
