Icebox Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
    1 heaping c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
Preparation
    Soak bran in water.
    Cream the Crisco and sugar.
    Mix milk and eggs.
    Add to Crisco and sugar.
    Mix in bran mixture.
    Add flour, soda and salt.
    Gently fold in until moistened the All-Bran.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes in muffin pans.
    Store in refrigerator 3 to 4 weeks.
