Coquille St. Jacques - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sea scallops
    2 Tbsp. minced onions
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
    dash of paprika
    3/4 c. dry white cooking wine or cooking sherry
    1/4 lb. washed chopped fresh mushrooms (1 1/2 c.)
    1/3 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. whipping cream
    2 tsp. parsley
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    In a medium pan, cook onion in 1 tablespoon butter. Add scallops, lemon juice, salt, paprika, wine and marjoram; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Add mushrooms and simmer 2 more minutes. Drain liquid into container and set aside.
