Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    5 c. nuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 1/2 lb. cherries
    1 lb. pineapple
    8 oz. preserves (pineapple)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add vanilla and lemon extract.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to fruit.
    Mix fruit/flour mixture with butter and sugar mixture. Add pecans. Bake in tube pan for 3 hours at 250\u00b0.
