Mincemeat - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef
1 1/2 lb. pork
1/2 lb. suet
2 lb. seedless raisins
2 lb. currants
2 lb. sugar
1 lb. brown sugar
2 oranges
2 lemons
1/2 lb. citron
2 qt. chopped apples (about 10)
1 c. molasses
2 tsp. ground cloves
3 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. ginger
1 c. cider
Preparation

Cook beef and pork until tender.
Grind with food chopper. Cook raisins and currants until soft.
Chop citron, apples, oranges and lemons very fine.
Add meat with other ingredients and simmer together for 10 to 15 minutes.
Put in jars and seal while hot. Makes approximately 7 quarts.
