Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 lb. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Mix milk and eggs together.
    Sift dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and salt; beat until smooth.
    Heat oil to frying stage.
    Pour batter into a funnel.
    Cover bottom of funnel with finger.
    Pour only half of the batter in a funnel.
    Remove finger, releasing batter into hot oil.
    Whirl around, making a round design in the oil.
    Cook about 3 minutes and turn over.
    Cook on other side.
    Drain on a paper towel; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serves 8.
