Lemony Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. molasses
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 c. hot water
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. toasted wheat germ
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Lemon Glaze
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until well blended.
Gradually add hot water, mixing well.
Add flour and next 8 ingredients; beat at low speed until blended, scraping bowl occasionally.
Beat at high speed 1 minute.
