Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. hot milk (not boiling)
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening well.
Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Add salt and vanilla; heat again.
Add hot milk a little at a time and continue to beat with addition of milk. When all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, beat for 15 minutes. Use a Mixmaster.
