Prospector'S Sourdough Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix ingredients
    in a crock-pot or glass jar and set in a warm place
    to
    sour.
    When
    it
    sours
    and
    really
    gets to bubbling, add
    a
    little
    flour,
    some sugar and a teaspoon of soda (these last
    ingredients
    are
    in addition to the listed ingredients). This is
    a
    very old recipe and you may have to do a
    little testing and some experiments!
    Mix until a stiff dough,
    adding needed
    flour.
    Put in a pan or Dutch oven and let
    rise.
    This can
    take 16 to 18 hours or more.
    Bake in a moderate oven until done.
