Caramel Corn(Cracker Jacks) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. popped corn
    2 c. cocktail peanuts (optional)
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil
    brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt 5 minutes. Remove from
    heat and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
    Pour over corn and peanuts.
    Stir
    until well mixed.
    Spread on 2 large cookie sheets and bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes while
    baking. Remove
    from
    oven and continue stirring until cool.
    Store in airtight containers.
