Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 eggs
    1/2 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Melt butter and sugar together.
    Remove from heat and add nuts, flour and baking powder.
    Add beaten egg yolks and stir until well blended.
    Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture. Pour in greased oblong pan (11 x 14-inch).
    Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Cut in squares.
