Chicken And Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. chicken
6 c. water
2 tsp. salt
2 c. cornmeal mix
3 slices bread
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
3 eggs, beaten
4 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation

Cook chicken until tender in the water with salt.
Remove chicken meat from bone and skin and cut into pieces.
Reserve broth. Add four cups of the hot broth to cornmeal mix and bread crumbs.
Stir in remaining ingredients, including chicken.
Pour into well-greased baking pan and bake at 425\u00b0 about thirty minutes.
Yields six to eight servings.
