Unstuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cabbage
    1 lb. chopped meat
    1 egg
    1/4 c. raw rice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    10 oz. tomatoes
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    8 oz. tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut the cabbage into wedges and put in the bottom of large pot. Mix tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and lemon juice together. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
    Mix meat, egg, salt and rice; make into balls.
    Put on cabbage mixture.
    Cover and cook for 2 1/2 hours on low flame.
