Sweet Pickles You Keep In Jar - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 lb. cucumbers
1 gal. red vinegar
10 lb. sugar
2 1/4 oz. alum
Preparation
-
Mix salt and water to float an egg.
Wash cucumbers.
Soak whole cucumbers in salt water for 7 days.
Put weight on them under water.
I use a 5 gallon plastic bucket.
