No Crust Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cooking apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Core and peel apples and cut into eighths.
    Combine apples, sugar, water and spices in a large pan and bring to a boil.
    Cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
    Spoon mixture into 9-inch deep dish pie plate.
