Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 egg white
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water to 238\u00b0.
    Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Continue beating until candy stiffens.
    When nearly set, drop by teaspoon on wax paper.
