Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. melted butter
    3/4 c. stale bread crumbs
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 1/2 pt. oysters
    6 Tbsp. oyster liquid
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Butter shallow baking dish. Place in dish 1/2 of crumbs blended with butter. Add layer of oysters. Pour over content 1/2 of liquid. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat layers. End with crumbs on top. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
