Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
Add 1 cup water, stirring until smooth.
Bring to a boil, while stirring. Lower heat and stir until clear.
Add lemon juice and peel.
Mix thoroughly.
Serve warm over gingerbread, angel food cake or the like.
