Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. red ripe tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped sweet red peppers (optional)
1 1/2 c. onions
1 1/2 c. chopped sweet green peppers
2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
1 c. sugar
3 c. vinegar
1 ball pickling spices, mixed and tied up in rags
3/4 tsp. hot pepper
Preparation

Select, wash and prepare vegetables.
Chop and combine all vegetables.
Simmer mixture until it begins to thicken.
Add spices and vinegar.
Cook until thick.
Remove spices and can in jars.
