Wisconsin Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices white toaster bread
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    8 slices cooked ham
    8 slices Swiss cheese
    3 eggs
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Spread bread with a mixture of melted butter and mustard.
    Put one slice of ham and Swiss cheese between bread slices.
    Cut each sandwich crosswise into 4 triangles.
    Line up sandwiches, pointed side up, in an 8-cup shallow casserole.
    Beat eggs with wire whip in bowl until well blended.
    Add milk.
    Pour evenly over sandwiches, coating bread thoroughly.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Remove plastic wrap and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until puffed and golden.
