Tomatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter in skillet until tender.
    Combine cheese and crumbs in bowl; mix well.
    Layer half the tomatoes, onion and cheese crumbs in 6 x 11-inch baking dish.
    Repeat layers.
    Combine remaining ingredients except parsley, in bowl; mix well.
    Pour over layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Garnish with parsley.
    Yields 6 servings.
