Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. honey
1 egg, well beaten
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
flour
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Continue creaming while adding honey in a fine stream.
Add egg, baking powder, salt and milk; mix well. Add enough flour to roll out dough and cut easily.
Fry in deep hot fat.
The honey will keep these delicious doughnuts moist longer than usual.
