Steak Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Combine meat, crumbs, egg, milk and seasonings.
    Mix well. Melt shortening in skillet; drop meat mixture by spoonfuls into shortening.
    Brown on both sides.
    Place in a covered buttered baking dish.
    Blend 1/2 can water with soup and pour over meat balls.
    Bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
