Creamy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes (6 medium)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 small onion, finely chopped or onion powder
Preparation
    Pare potatoes; slice thinly.
    Heat margarine in saucepan over low heat until melted.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
    Stir in milk.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Arrange potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole, in 3 layers, topping each layer with onion and sauce.
    Cover and cook in 325\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes. Uncover and cook 60 to 70 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
