Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot water
2 egg whites, well beaten
1/3 c. white Karo syrup
pinch of salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix and boil sugar, hot water and salt.
Cook until syrup reaches hard ball stage on candy thermometer.
Then pour slowly into egg whites while beating.
Add pecans.
When mixture begins to hold its shape, quickly drop by teaspoonful on wax paper.
