Busy Day Chicken And Mushrooms(For Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. dry Italian salad dressing mix
    1 c. cream of mushroom soup
    2 (3 oz.) cream cheese, cut in cubes
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) c. mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Wash chicken; pat dry.
    Brush with butter.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Place in crock-pot.
    Sprinkle dry salad mix over. Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours.
    About 45 minutes before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, sherry and onions in a small saucepan.
    Cook until smooth.
    Pour over chicken along with mushrooms.
    Cook 30 more minutes on low.
    Serve with sauce over rice or noodles.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
