4 Tbsp. olive oil
2 c. onion
2 cloves garlic
5 c. tomatoes (two 28 oz. cans)
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. tarragon
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
6 oz. tomato paste
dash of pepper
Preparation

Heat oil in pan.
Add onion and garlic until translucent; then add the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer 40 minutes.
