Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup (Karo)
    1 c. cocktail peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a Pyrex measure cup (4 cup size):
    Microwave on High sugar and corn syrup for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts and microwave 3 to 5 minutes on High until light brown.
    Watch carefully.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Microwave 1 to 2 minutes on High.
    Add baking soda and stir gently.
    Pour onto buttered cookie sheet and cool 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Enjoy!
