Simple Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1 c. butter
Preparation
    Mix together the vanilla, egg and sugar in small bowl.
    In a large bowl, pour flour, making a depression in center.
    Spoon in shortening or butter and the sugar mixture.
    Work into a stiff dough.
    Roll out really thin and bake 7 to 8 minutes at 400\u00b0.
