Marinated Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. unpeeled, sliced cucumbers
    4 medium onions, sliced thin
    2 bell peppers, sliced thin
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. salt
Preparation
    Stir sugar, vinegar and salt thoroughly and pour over sliced vegetables.
    Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
    Stir occasionally. Put into pint containers and freeze!
    Will keep several months. Thaw before serving and refrigerate any not used.
