Kolacky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3 oz. regular or reduced calorie cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 tsp. no-sugar-added fruit spread (assorted flavors)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. cold water
Preparation
    Combine butter and cream cheese in large bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
    Blend in vanilla.
    Combine flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until mixture forms soft dough.
    Divide dough in half; wrap each half in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm.
