Nana'S Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/8 c. flour
    2 slices bread or 1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
    1 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins
    1 3/4 c. water
    1/4 c. milk (if use bread crumbs)
Preparation
    Soak bread in a little water and squeeze out good or use bread crumbs soaked in 1/4 cup milk.
    Mix ground meat, pepper, salt, bread or bread crumbs, beaten egg, onion and Lea & Perrins together well.
    Form into small balls and roll in flour twice. Brown in greased skillet, then pour water over all; stir.
    Place mixture in casserole and bake in oven for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0. Remove from oven and add mushrooms.
    Can use mushroom juice if needed.
    Return to oven and bake 15 minutes more.
