Turnip Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pared turnips, peeled and sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 eggs
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Place turnips and onion in saucepan; cover with water.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; bring to a boil.
    Cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 15 minutes or until turnips are tender; drain and mash.
