Pecan Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter (not margarine)
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. water
1 c. pecans
6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar and water in a heavy pan or skillet. Start on high heat and cook on high until
it reaches soft crack stage (295\u00b0).
Stir constantly when the color begins to darken. Stir in chopped pecans and quickly pour onto large cookie sheet and spread thin.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Spread chocolate evenly when it's melted.
When cool, break into pieces.
