Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
4 oz. milk chocolate chips or pieces
chopped pecans
Preparation

Cut butter into 4 pieces and add 1 at a time after each is melted.
Add sugar, water, syrup and salt.
Stir constantly.
Cook to hard crack stage (295\u00b0) or until color of brown paper bag. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet about 3/4 full.
Break up or sprinkle chocolate chips or pieces on top and spread as it melts. Sprinkle with finely chopped pecans.
